These classes are designed to enhance your child's creativity and comfort in front of an audience.

Creating Puppet Plays for Ages 5-7
Lincoln School
One-Week Sessions: August 7 - 11, August 14-18 ($240 per week no discounts or waivers apply)
Exercise your imagination with the magic of puppetry! We will explore a world of puppetry styles as we design and build colorful characters in many shapes and sizes. Together, we'll learn how to bring original stories and scenes to life on the puppet stage, and then put on a show for our friends to enjoy.

Playful Performances for Ages 5-7
Lincoln School
One-Week Sessions: July 10 - 14, July 17 - 21, July 24 - 28, July 31- August 4 ($201 per week)
Does your child love the world of make-believe and acting? Students will listen to popular children's stories and develop their flair for the dramatic through the magic of music, dance, acting, and theatrical projects related to the story. We'll make simple sets and costumes, play improvisational games, and perform mini-scenes to build teamwork and confidence. Weekly themes, workshops, and special guests will vary. Activities will take place both indoors and outside.

Theater Arts Program Jr. for Ages 5 - 6

Two weeks, August 7 - August 18 ($740)

Calling all aspiring young actors and actresses! Are you ready to take your talents to new heights? If you like to dance, sing, and tell stories, Theater Arts Jr. will improve your acting and performing skills. From popular story-books to silly songs and skits, we'll create mini-plays that are a balance of scripted and improvised material. Outdoor play and art projects will also be part of our day.

This performance program offers young entertainers a chance to explore the world of theater. Each day children will participate in engaging acting, music, dance, and art classes. In addition, we'll collaborate with professional artists and educators to create a new and original show. Students will learn dialogue and choreography and help create scripts, sets, and musical numbers. Each session will culminate with a unique, formal performance. Outdoor games and water play will be part of our program.


Classes will not be in session:

(Back to School Night, no evening classes at BHS, Tappan Gym, and UAB)

Monday, October 9
(Columbus Day, no classes)

(Veteran's Day, no classes)

(Day before Thanksgiving, no evening classes)

Thursday-Saturday, November 23-25
(Thanksgiving break, no classes)
