From the Vine to the Bottle   

Identify, taste, pick and crush grapes at harvest time in a working vineyard with experienced instructors using a hands-on approach. Observe the fruit on the vine, visiting vineyards to learn how the winemakers determine when to pick the grapes at optimum ripeness. Focus on fermentation and pre-cellar operations, discussing cover crop and preparing the vineyard for winter. Discover why certain actions impact the quality of the finished wine. Class locations will be emailed prior to first day. Must be age 21+.
