Photowalking with Your Digital Camera    NEW!

PHOTOWALKING is the act of walking with a camera for the purpose of taking pictures of things the photographer finds interesting.

Photowalking is a communal activity and is done as a method to practice and improve one's own photography skills by sharing with others on the walk rather than a with specific focus on documentary photography.

While related to street photography, photowalking is different as the main impetus is to photograph things of interest rather than people specifically. Photowalking is often associated with online photo sharing.

This class gives student an opportunity to ask other photographers what it is they see in a scene. Artists love to share how they see the world. So ask! Someone’s answer may change your own view.

Meet in classroom and photo walk to Ft. Vancouver and back plus our beautiful Clark campus led by a professional photographer offering tips and tricks to improve your photography.

After the walk, class will meet to discuss and upload photos for all to share.

This is a companion class to How Do I Take Better Digital Photos?

There will be a one-hour lunch break. Dress for the weather and bring water.

Age 16+.
