DEMO Greek Food: Cooking for the Gods

Greek cooking offers an incredibly rich and diverse array of foods and beverages that are the result of thousands of years of living, cooking, and eating. Lemons, olives (and olive oil), and wine constitute the triptych of the Greek diet as well as its incredible array of cheeses, oils, fruits, nuts, grains, legumes, and vegetables. Spices, garlic and other herbs such as oregano, basil, mint, and thyme are widely used, as are vegetables such as eggplant and zucchini, and legumes of all types. Join Betty for an evening with the Gods! Recipes include Greek Salad, Skordalia (potato appetizer), Baba Ganoush, Moussaka, Spanokopita and Baklava.
