Modified Fundamentals of Caregiving (MFOC), Edition 2 NEW!

This DSHS certified class is for caregivers who have NAC; CNA; LPN; RN; OT; PT or ST license and provide care in Adult Family Home; Boarding Home and those who are In-Home Independent Providers. The Modified Fundamentals of Caregiving, Edition 2 is a 7 hour course designed for health care workers whose previous training gives them proficiency in some of the content and basic skills covered in the full 28-hour RFOC course. MFOC focuses on client/resident rights including mandatory reporting requirements, medication assistance regulations, Nurse Delegation, Self-directed Care, assessment and observation, documentation, and service planning. Successful completion of the training and competency testing is required. Competency testing is 1 hour and is in addition to class hours.
