Beginning Tai Chi   

An introductory class providing a simple, guided practice which is designed to teach the internal arts of qigong and tai chi. The graceful movements combine relaxed breathing with an understanding which grows over time, creating the beauty of the art. Learn step-by-step the way to experience tai chi's health benefits and inspiration for life. Short warm-up processes and tai chi walking precede the entry into "tai chi chuan," a traditional sequence. Adjustments for individual limitations are stressed all along the way. Both new and returning students are welcome. Please come to class well hydrated and wearing loose, comfortable clothing.
