Photomontage - The Relationship Between Brain Health, Creativity, and Memory (4 Sessions with lunch)   NEW!

This interactive and engaging program will explore the relationship between brain health, creativity, memory and photomontage. A photomontage is a collage made from photographs or parts of photographs which are joined together to create a meaningful and seamless collage.

Participants will enjoy an educational creative workshop as they create a memory board that is a piece of art work. You are asked to bring in (or make color copies) of old photographs based on favorite memories, themes, ideas, and/or vacations (for example). Participants should also bring in artifacts that he/she want to use on the board. The group leader will help with layout and design. We will learn how images strengthen memory. Participants will learn about shadow boxes for framing 2 and 3D images. All participants will be given a 16” x 20” Bristol board on which to work. Participants will leave with art work of their own creation
