Dealing with Alzheimer's   NEW!

Two of America's leading Alzheimer’s authorities, Dr. Nancy S. Foldi of Queens College and Dr. Carmen Morano from the Hunter College School of Social Work are joined by Jed Levine, Executive Vice President of the New York City Chapter of the American Alzheimer’s Association and New York Times science reporter Denise Grady. Together they will review issues related to Alzheimer’s disease and other similar dementias, which are often masked or misdiagnosed. In addition, the panel will discuss the challenges that face caregivers as well as provide effective solutions to those problems.

Live Online Session 1
In the first live online session, Dr. Foldi and Dr. Morano address various aspects of the disease, including functional, psychological, and behavioral trajectories of patients with dementia as well as early detection, diagnosis, and care.

Live Online Session 2
In the second live online session, Foldi and Morano provide an overview of common challenges faced by family caregivers. Jed Levine, Executive Vice President of the New York City Chapter of the American Alzheimer’s Association and New York Times science reporter Denise Grady will join our panel of experts and weigh in on trends in Alzheimer’s care and provide caregivers with a rich set of suggestions for potential resources.
