Finally a photography class ONLY for owners of digital Point and Shoot Cameras! The class objective is simple: getting the best photographs possible out of the camera you own. Point and Shoot cameras are the most common cameras, but often the least understood. They offer so many setting options, but most users never stray from automatic. Explore your creative options: what size to capture your images, the range of exposure settings, automatic focus, and using flash with intention. We will also consider the "rules" of composition to improve your photographs even more. Required in the first class: (1) a digital Point and Shoot camera; (2) owner’s manual (your manual can be downloaded from your manufacturer’s website if you do not have one); (3) 5 photographs you want to share as as a scan (on a CD, DVD or flash drive) or any size print (framed or unframed).
Also, bring a brown bag lunch.
