CPR: Basic Life Support For The Healthcare Provider (.4 CEUs)
This course is for healthcare providers, such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, medical or nursing students in training, aides, medical or nursing assistants, and other allied health personnel who must have a credential documenting successful completion of CPR for healthcare provider course. Course teaches CPR skills for helping victims of all ages (including doing ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device, and oxygen); use of an automated external defibrillator (AED); and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO). This course follows the most current AHA healthcare provider guidelines. The certification is valid for two years. BLS Healthcare Provider textbook is available for in-class use only. Instructor will provide information for purchasing the textbook. Presented by “I Know CPR.”
