Learn how and why employees unionize; the legal code governing unions (and the unionization process); steps in union certification; the collective bargaining process; grievance resolution; and how to work effectively with employees to develop and sustain positive working relationships based on trust. This course is an elective in the Human Resources certificate program. Prerequisite: Human Resources Essentials.
