Intro to Geol Science I

Introduction to geologic processes, emphasizing composition and structure of Earth. The dynamic nature of Earth's crust, mantle, and core. The forces that have shaped Earth: earthquakes, volcanoes, plate tectonics and mountain building. Laboratory projects stress hands-on experiments and field experiences.

Prerequisite: Placement into ENGL 101 and MATH 081 or higher.
