Introduction to Shop Tools
Don’t be intimidated by those tools you would like to use. Learn to operate both portable and stationary tools and feel comfortable doing project with them. This class will introduce you to the table saw, band saw, sanders (both stationary and portable), router, and portable saws. You will learn the appropriate techniques to make these tools work at their optimum efficiency including a demonstration of a variety of jigs. Tool safety, tool parts and changing parts will also be covered.
