|PALS Meds & Prep (.15 CEUs)
Are you planning to take PALS for the first time? Or do you need a quick refresher on PALS medications? PALS Meds & Prep is the class for you. This class provides instruction on the uses, precautions and administration guidelines for various emergency medications for the pediatric population. The PALS algorithms will be reviewed with tips and tricks for remembering the AHA guidelines. Upon completion of PALS Meds & Prep, the learner will: identify clinical pearls to remembering the AHA guidelines for respiratory, shock, and cardiac core cases; and evaluate the uses, precautions and administration guidelines for medications used in the AHA PALS cases.
In order to receive a certificate of successful completion for 1.5 contact hours, all attendees must sign the official registration form, attend the entire seminar, complete all practical exercises, and turn in a completed evaluation form.
