Sailing in the Caribbean, June 7-15

Back by popular demand! Come with our experienced captain and sailing instructor to cruise the British Virgin Islands, one of the world’s most desirable sailing destinations. Warm water, steady 75-85 degree days, and consistent trade winds make these enchanted islands the perfect sailing paradise. What a wonderful way to practice your basic skills or learn to sail bareboat style! Our small crew will arrive on Friday, settle in on the boat and attend the briefing to prepare for Saturday am departure from the marina. Spend 7 full days on a comfortable sailboat, operating the boat through crystal clear azure waters, island hopping among the pristine beaches and enjoying the local island night life. There will be time to snorkel, swim, relax and explore the islands. Little to no sailing experience is required. Partial provisioning allows you to try some local restaurants in the evening, while having the convenience of most meals and sleeping on the boat. Call 864-294-2153 or email donna.rogers@furman.edu to receive more information. Price per person, double occupancy: $1920. Join us for a "meet the captain" gathering: trip presentation and opportunity to ask questions, Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 7:00 p.m., Furman Hall 126.

Class is already in session.  Please call with any questions, 294-2153 or 294-3134.
