Reinforce your project management skills in a simulated real-world project, and practice application of the key tools and processes that professionals use to manage projects successfully. Take turns serving as the project manager and key stakeholders, and experience the positive impact of effective planning, and possibly the negative effect of poor planning. As you progress through the project from planning through implementation, emergent situations will be imposed, and you will have to respond in an effective manner with minimum impact on cost and schedule. Prerequisite: Completion of all Project Management Certificate program required courses. Review of course notes from PM Essentials, Project Planning and Scheduling Techniques, Project Execution and Control and Project Team Management is expected before class starts, so you are prepared to run a project as a project manager.
