Introduction into Kitchen Design NEW!

The class will introduce the students to the kitchen design history and direction that it is taking. We will review essential components and establish a checklist for efficient design process of a kitchen. The students will learn and will have time to practice the guidelines that make kitchens ergonomic as well as esthetically appealing. We will touch on the trends, review case studies and answer questions that relate to the kitchen remodeling process, cabinet layouts and materials used. A broad list of resources available on-line as well as locally will be shared to further help guide the design research and facilitate decision making as it comes to kitchen remodels.
