Japanese for Teens I   

This two-week program is designed for students between the ages of 12 and 18. Students will be introduced to the Japanese language and writing styles like Hiragana and Kanji (Chinese Character). Students will gain insight about the culture as well. Be prepared to learn basic everyday vocabulary and how to use expressions in the right context. Students will learn Japanese through fun games, activities (origami craft), practice calligraphy and cooking. By the end of this class, students will be able to start reading and writing in Hiragana as well as experience Japanese culture (Tanabata Festival).

Please bring $5 to first class for materials.
