Chinese for Teens I   

This two-week program is designed for students between the ages of 12 and 18. In this two-part class, students will learn the Chinese language and the culture as well.
Part I will cover Chinese phonics, simple Chinese characters, basic everyday vocabulary and how to use expressions in Mandarin Chinese.
Part II will introduce students to Chinese culture: Spring Festival (12 animals that symbolize the years in the Chinese calendar system), the Dragon Boat Festival, Moon Festival and traditional paper cutting. Fun activities and exercises will be included to help students learn simple terms and characters. Class material list will be available online before the start of class.
