This workshop will offer the basic tenet of writing skills that apply to important words writers must think about, know, and use. You will learn the fundamentals of becoming an author and the use of personal expression. Learn how to plot a mystery, develop the character arc, listen to the muse, develop narrative tension and bring emotion to your message. Get a chance to critique your work and that of others. Become skilled at editing and revising. All this and more in the Young Writer’s Workshop presented by R. E. Smith, noted poet, novelist and instructor. R.E. Smith has published two books and spearheads the New Poet’s Society contest in the Lake Washington School District.
