Rediscover the art and craft of analog photography in our fully equipped black-and-white darkroom. This open lab program provides community members of all skill levels the opportunity to develop film and create traditional photographic prints using both historical and modern image-making techniques. Participants will have access to enlargers, trays, chemistry, and essential darkroom equipment during supervised open lab hours. An instructor will be available for guidance and technical support. An included option each week will be introductory instruction on a range of topics from basic black-and-white techniques to alternative image-making processes. This program is ideal for hobbyists, emerging photographers, artists, and anyone interested in working with film and traditional processes. Whether you are returning to the darkroom or exploring it for the first time, this space offers creative freedom and professional support. Participants must supply their own film and printing paper. All chemistry is provided in the lab.
