Our program curriculum includes instruction on Oklahoma state regulations, insurance restrictions, mathematics, applicable law, nomenclature, basic IV admixture, computerized pharmacy systems and skills needed to work in retail pharmacies and hospitals. Coursework includes classroom exercises, competency reviews and preparation for the national Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE). Students receive textbooks approved by the American Pharmacists Association.
Students will be awarded a certificate of completion upon successful completion of the course. Students are encouraged to register for the PTCE exam after completing this course.
