Three Cousins: the King, the Kaiser, and the Tsar and the Advent of the Great War (1914-1918)  

A commentator living during WWI is quoted, "We live in the time of great events and small people." We will examine and compare the dynamics that occurred when national interests clashed with family considerations and recognize how these rulers--the King of England, the Kaiser of Germany, and the Tsar of Russia--shared many of the same traits and weaknesses.
