Movement: Body Intelligence.
It’s been proven that movement and exercise are the keys to living longer, stronger lives. This stimulating course will help in improving our strength, balance and flexibility while creating habits of good posture, increased energy and personal wellness. We will develop fluency in the language of our own bodies by developing our awareness and responsibility to the wisdom within. Relaxation and awareness exercises will round out our practice. No previous movement experience is necessary. Wear comfortable clothes and come prepared to move in an inspiring and fun group. Bring an exercise mat if you have one. About the Instructor: Jamie Lantz, MA, is an experienced educator and somatic therapist. Helping people in recovery from trauma as well as people with special needs in a variety of settings, she is skilled at attending to individual needs. Her lifelong passion for dance and movement and her background in counseling psychology and body-based and expressive arts therapy inform her teaching.
