Shakespeare's Coriolanus on Page and Stage NEW!

As part of OLLI’s on-going series of classes on Shakespeare explore the great Roman tragedy, Coriolanus. Using videos, DVDs, in-class close reading and discussion this class will look at this often overlooked but brilliant tragedy, the performance challenges of bringing it to the stage, and some of the most interesting interpretations of the last thirty years. We’ll look intensively at one act per week and culminate with a class viewing of the recent Ralph Fiennes film version.
