The Art and Architecture of Cuba

The rich multi-cultural heritage of Cuba, with its five centuries of recorded history, will be covered with color slides and handouts. The colorful architecture of Havana, as well as several other historic cities across the island, will be described. Traditional Cuban music and revolutionary art will also be discussed. The teacher has travelled through Cuba five times, and he published a series of articles about his travels for the Knight-Ridder chain of newspapers in the Bay Area.
