Success Strategies for Teaching Children/Youth with Bipolar Disorder

speaks directly to the stress teachers
face educating children or youth
diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. This
workshop opens with a profle of
three types of Bipolar Disorder seen
in children and adolescents It goes
on to suggest a set of strategies and
accommodations that teachers and
administrators may use to load the
situation for success and to manage the
personal stress that comes with teaching
very diffcult, often brilliant, children.
