This course is designed to train professional-level rescuers to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants, until advanced medical personnel take over. Those with a professional duty to act, including professional rescuers and medical and public safety workers, will gain the skills needed to respond appropriately to breathing and cardiac emergencies, including: one- and two-rescuer CPR, how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED), and CPR and bag-valve masks.

This course has been updated to meet the Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) 2010 guidelines. Successful completion of this course will result in a certificate for CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Healthcare Providers, valid for two years.
