What is a Garden? The Founders Garden

Emerson once wrote "I would make the entire face of the country a garden." While that may be the widest view possible, it does beg the question, what is a garden anyway? That question will be the central focus of a 75-minute lecture and discussion session. A second 75 minute session will be dedicated exclusively to an in-depth walking tour of the Founders Garden on the UGA campus.
