Athens Land Trust: A Visit to Williams Farm

Athens Land Trust (ALT) has a five-acre farm right in the heart of town! Come for a tour of the Williams Farm, a model for organic food production in an urban setting that provides employment for under-served youth. Learn how ALT promotes responsible and equitable land use in Athens-Clarke County through its programs and activities. Participants should dress appropriately and wear comfortable walking shoes. Location details will be provided to class participants in advance of the tour date. Please come prepared to walk on uneven terrain. An optional 1/4 mile hike on an adjacent property protected by Athens Land Trust will be offered following the class.
