Bludwine to Budwine: An Athens Soft Drink's History

Developed out of the temperance movement of the 1890s, Bludwine was a soft drink intended to move people away from alcohol to a more wholesome beverage. During Bludwine's 90-year existence, it went from a small-town product to a national and multinational, renowned soft drink. The class will cover Bludwine from its creation through its demise. Participants will use hands-on learning with genuine items as Mark shares knowledge gained through researching and collecting Bludwine and Budwine items over the past 30 years.
