|Tai Chi 8 Form (Beginner Level) Section 1
Tai Chi Chuan is an internal Chinese martial art that is extremely beneficial for good health. It is also a method of relaxation and is used to increase focus and concentration. Benefits include the following: stress reduction; improved concentration, flexibility, and strength; and enhancement of the immune system, balance, memory, circulation, and coordination. Course is limited to 15 students. Note: UMass Boston student ID is required to enter the Beacon Fitness Center where the class will be held. Please contact the OLLI office for more details.
