Drop a Course or Program

If you need to drop a class or other registered program for any reason, contact the OLLI Office by phone (617.287.7312), email, in person, or by using the Questions/Suggestions button at the top of the screen.

If possible, drop the course or program before the term begins so that a waitlisted student can join the class.

Find My Course Zoom Link

There are two ways to find the Zoom links for your online courses:

Check your email.
♦ Spring and Fall course facilitators send a welcome email to all registered students one week before the class begins and reminder emails every week, typically the day before each class. Search in your email for the facilitator's name and/or a key word from the course's title.
♦ The OLLI office sends emails to registered participants of OLLI Talks and other programs. Look for emails from ollireg@gmail.com.
♦ If you can’t find the email, check your email's junk/spam folder.

Zoom links are available online!
♦ Click the yellow 'Account' button in the menu bar at the top of the screen.
♦ Then select 'Print/View Course List.' The Zoom link will be in the last column when it becomes available. Note: this page will take a little while to load.

For OLLI's multi-week courses, the same Zoom link is used for every session of a course.

Email the OLLI office if you cannot find the link.

Get a Mango Languages Account

Brush up on your language skills! Full and OLLI Carte members can enjoy a free subscription to Mango Languages, which is an online language-learning platform. To request a Mango Languages account, simply email the OLLI office. You will be provided with an account name, initial password, and the Mango login website. You may continue to use this password or change it once you have initially logged into your Mango account.

Apply for a Scholarship

OLLI offers full and partial scholarships to individuals who need assistance paying OLLI's annual membership fees.

Available for any membership level, scholarships cover only the membership fee for one year; any additional course or programming fees or costs are not covered by the scholarship. You don’t need to supply any type of financial documentation. Current and past recipients must re-apply each year.

To Apply for a Scholarship

  1. Call the OLLI Office (617.287.7312) and request a scholarship application form.
  2. Complete application form
  3. Return completed application form to the OLLI office at:
    OLLI at UMass Boston
McCormack Hall, 3rd Floor, Room 003
    100 Morrissey Blvd
    Boston, MA   02125

Applicants will be notified of the decision in time to request courses.

Start a Shared Interest Group (SIG)

As you may know, SIGs are independent groups of OLLI members that form around a shared interest or hobby. They run for the most part independently of the OLLI Office, but the office does support the initial creation of a new SIG. If you are interested in starting a new Shared Interest Group, contact the OLLI office (at 617-287-7312 or email ollireg@gmail.com) and the staff will walk you through the process and answer any questions you may have.

Each SIG must have a leader, or team of leaders, who will be responsible for organizing its meetings and communicating with group members. A description, or purpose statement, will need to be created to give potential members an idea of what the group does and is about. The office will then assist in the organization and publicization of an informational meeting, which allows OLLI members to become aware of the new group and to get a sense if there is enough interest to keep the group active.

Share an Idea for an OLLI Course, Program, or Instructor

We are always looking for new courses, OLLI Talks and walks, and social events. If you have an idea or know someone who could teach a course or lead a talk or walk, or have an idea for a social event, contact the office by phone (617-287-7312) or email or click the Questions/Suggestions button at the top of the screen.

It is strongly encouraged that you make the first contact with a potential speaker or presenter. We have often found that having a member talk about OLLI and their experiences is meaningful for the person to hear. They can often times get a better sense of OLLI and what it is about through listening to a member rather than a staff member.

Make a Suggestion or Ask a Question

♦ Do you have suggestions for improving the OLLI experience, or for an OLLI social event or course?
♦ Would you like to recommend a speaker or facilitator you think would be good for OLLI?
♦ Do you have a question about OLLI or our website?

Send an email to the OLLI Office or click the Questions/Suggestions button at the top of the screen.
