Home Inspection Certification TrainingThere has never been a stronger demand for home inspections than there is today. Helena College is pleased to offer this high quality, convenient program which is endorsed by the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI).
This 10-course program will provide you with the technical skills and expertise needed to succeed in the home inspection field. Learn how to conduct visual examinations and deliver written reports on the physical and operational condition of homes or housing units.
Each course will be delivered through a blended approach of printed material and online sessions. Courses vary in length and can be completed from your home or office. Exercises and practical quizzes allow you to check your level of understanding. Stay connected with your instructor and share ideas with other participants in your online community. Courses can be taken in any order.

Each of the Home Inspection modules are priced individually at $395 each and are self-paced. You can enroll and begin at any time. You may take all ten or take individual courses. LEED Green Associate Exam PreparationLEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is changing the way we think about how buildings and communities are planned, constructed, maintained and operated.
The following course covers the fundamental concepts of green building and is intended for design, construction and real estate professionals, building owners, or anyone who wants to develop their knowledge in this area. The course will prepare students to earn the LEED Green Associate credential from the Green Building Certification Institute. Students examine case studies of LEED certified building projects, concepts of integrated design, third-party verification and the LEED administration process.
LEED works for all buildings—from homes to corporate headquarters—at all phases of development. Projects pursuing LEED certification earn points across several areas that address sustainability issues. LEED-certified buildings are resource efficient. They use less water and energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. As an added bonus, they save money.
