Effective Mentoring and Coaching of Employees  

One of the most important roles of a supervisor/manager is that of coach and mentor. This program is designed to help supervisors learn what they need to know about helping employees achieve their full potential through coaching and mentoring. From defining performance targets to supporting staff as they progress, this program will show supervisors how to motivate employees to develop themselves, promoting initiative and self-responsibility. Learn the differences between mentoring and coaching and why both are important when working with employees. Discover how to develop the coaching approach as a supervisor and fill out a self-assessment to determine current individual coaching skill levels.
