This course is an introduction to the collection samples for potable and non-potable water sources. While this course will focus on collection Bacteriological Sample Collection students will also receive training to prepare them to take other types of required samples used in evaluating water quality. This course will be to prepare water and wastewater employees to apply proper techniques using acceptable methods to collect various types of water samples. 0.7 CEU.
Meets WA Department of Health Relevancy Criteria for Waterworks Operator Professional Growth. Meets WA Department of Ecology Criteria for Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators and will earn Wastewater CEU.
