ACTIVATED SLUDGE  

Learn the critical components and microbiology of activated sludge and how they relate to other wastewater treatment processes.

Compare modes of activated sludge and their advantages and disadvantages. Learn how to prevent injuries and avoid hazards of activated sludge facility operation. Learn to develop effective sampling plans and how to analyze lab test results and other data to control activated sludge processes. Find out how to diagnose those tough process control problems and recommend potential solutions.

Attendees will pick up vital information that you can put to immediate use to improve the operation of activated sludge processes.

1.4 CEU.

Meets WA Department of Ecology Criteria for Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators and will earn Wastewater CEU.
