PROCESS CONTROL AND INSTRUMENTATION  

This practical, easy to understand workshop will help you grasp the essentials of process control instrumentation systems used to control flow, pressure, level, temperature and other parameters in water and wastewater facilities. The workshop provides practical insight into what process instrumentation does and how it applies to smooth and efficient facility operation and control. Participants will learn terminology, how to read instrument symbols, how to identify the parts of a control loop, the types of components and instruments used in process control systems and their applications. The instructor will demonstrate and participants will have opportunities to use control devices. 1.4 CEU.

Meets WA Department of Health Relevancy Criteria for Waterworks Operator Professional Growth. Meets WA Department of Ecology Criteria for Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators and will earn Wastewater CEU.
