Square Foot Gardening - Fallon

Square Foot Gardening is a simple system that adapts to all levels of experience, physical abilities, and geographical locations. Grow 100% of the crop in only 20% of the space of a conventional row garden. You will save time, water, work and money! You will learn a new method of gardening that is very easy to understand, is user friendly, economical, and Earth Friendly. Learn about mixing soil, plant and seed choices, how to grow your own starts, how to build planter boxes and how to build a grid. Plan on coming to class and getting dirty for most sessions. Nancy & Ken Clarke are certified instructors through the Square Foot Gardening Foundation. NOTE: There will be a Saturday field trip to visit their garden in Fernley on May 13th.
