Square Foot Gardening - Carson City NEW!

Square foot gardening is a simple system that adapts to all levels of experience; physical abilities and geographical locations. Learn to grown 100% of the crop in only 20% of the space of a conventional row garden. This system can help you save time, water, work and money! Students will learn a new method of gardening that is very easy to understand, is user friendly, economical, and Earth Friendly. Learn about mixing soil, plant and seed choices, how to grown your own starts, how to build planter boxes and how to build a grid. Plan on coming to class and getting dirty. Nancy and Ken Clarke are certified instructors through the Square Foot Gardening Foundation. Please note this class was a late add on to the Carson City area, so if you can't make it now we will offer the class again. Also, there will be a trip to Fernley to see the garden in action and build a planter or mix the soil. Come be happy and play a little.
