Arizona American Indians: Centennial Perspectives   NEW!

There are 22 federally recognized, sovereign Indian reservations in Arizona, home to diverse peoples who have been here for thousands of years. Learn about their ancient past, contemporary history and current lives. Focusing on the largest tribes (Navajo, Hopi, Apache), this course explores traditional life-ways and evolving relationships with the U.S. government and their policies. Lectures, discussions, films, guest presenters and possible optional guided field trips.

"David has a great deal of Indian knowledge and I hope he will continue to pass on this knowledge."

"This course was profoundly informative with facts I never was aware of before in my life! I want to take more of this instructor’s classes. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience. I have an A.A. and B.A. degree, but never had an instructor who was as enthusiastic and knowledgeable about a subject as this man!"
