Focusing on the largest tribes (Navajo, Hopi, Apache), this course explores traditional life-ways and evolving relationships with the U.S. government and their policies. Lectures, discussions, films, guest presenters and possible optional guided field trips.
"David has a great deal of Indian knowledge and I hope he will continue to pass on this knowledge."
"This course was profoundly informative with facts I never was aware of before in my life! I want to take more of this instructor’s classes. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience. I have an A.A. and B.A. degree, but never had an instructor who was as enthusiastic and knowledgeable about a subject as this man!"
