Broadcast Audio Production

Learn the basic skills of radio production. We’ll cover studio voice recording, digital multitrack editing, and the art of creating effective promotions. The science of sound and recording will also be discussed. There will be numerous hands-on projects, with students expected to come into the studio outside of class on a regular basis. After class completion, successful students may also volunteer at KBCS FM as production assistants. Note: This class is not intended for people wishing to learn about audio engineering for live music performance. Directions to KBCS are available here.
