TELOS - The Geology of Our Remarkable Cordillera - The Rocky Mountains & the Western States

Learn the basic concepts of geology as they apply to the landscape of the western third of North America. In addition, there will be examples from New Zealand, Iceland and other locations. Special attention will be paid to the plate tectonic theory. The goal of this course is to present the concepts in straightforward language that non-scientists can understand.
