Teenage Novelist: What's the Big Idea?
NEW!
“Once, a blimp…” Marvin Whickpucket begins. “A wombat spy…” he trails off. “On St. Cuthbert’s Day…” He stops. “Marvin!” you snap. “Finish or don’t start!” “I can’t,” whines Marvin, “I have no ideas.” How do you lure ideas? Is idea the same as plot? Can the Bureau of Silly Walks help your novel? Surprise yourself (and Marvin) with a sizzling storyline by week’s end. Course includes in-class writing and critique. Teenage Novelist: Scenes & Dreams, Plotting & Scheming and Developing Your Character recommended, but not required, as companion classes. Related classes include Teenage Novelist: Revision and Publishing.
