Landscape Painting in Oils

Learning how to paint effective landscapes is a fun process if you build up your technique in small steps. First, we’ll work on small studies, quick sketches in color, then move into more complex shapes and finally a finished piece to be proud of. You’ll be encouraged to try a variety of styles, from simple shading, to line, glazing, wet-into-wet, drybrush, and a few techniques the instructor specializes in. This class is for anyone who wants to learn to paint realistic landscapes using traditional and creative oil painting methods. It’s fun and you’ll learn a lot as you work toward a final piece. See website for supply list.
