CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst+   NEW!

Created for cybersecurity practitioners to perform job functions related to ensuring the availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation of information systems (IS). This course focuses on the knowledge, skills and ability required to provide defense of IS in the cybersecurity context, including protection, detection, analysis, investigation and response processes.

• Analyzing reconnaissance threats to computing and network environments
• Analyzing attacks on computing and networking environments
• Analyzing post-attack techniques
• Managing vulnerabilities in the organization
• Collecting cybersecurity intelligence
• Analyzing log data
• Performing active asset and network analysis
• Responding to cybersecurity incidents
• Investigating cybersecurity incidents
• Addressing security architecture issues

Prerequisites:
• Students should have a min of 2 years experience in IT network security, plus:
• Ability to recognize information security vulnerabilities and threats in the context of risk management
• Foundation-level operational skills with common operating systems
• Foundational knowledge of concepts and frameworks of common desktop and network security safeguards
• Foundational understanding of common networking concepts and TCP/IP network protocols
