This course covers the fundamentals of building IT infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Students will learn how to optimize the use of AWS cloud computing by delivering AWS services and how these services fit into cloud-based solutions. This course will focus on best practices and recommended design patterns to help students think through the process of architecting optional IT solutions on AWS. The course will also present case studies to showcase how AWS customers have designed their architecture, strategies and services.
Finally, the course provides opportunities to build a variety of infrastructures via a guided, hands-on approach. The curriculum is delivered through instructor-led classes, hands-on labs, and project work. Students have access to course manuals, online knowledge assessments, hands-on labs, a free practice certification exam, and a discount voucher for the certification exam.
