CompTIA A+ is the foundation of your IT career. CompTIA A+ is the preferred qualifying credential for technical support and IT operational roles. It is about much more than PC repair. CompTIA A+ students are better prepared to troubleshoot and problem solve and they understand a wide variety of issues ranging from networking and operating systems to mobile devices and security. A+ supports the ability to connect users to the data they need to do their jobs regardless of the devices being used.
The course and exams will cover the following technical areas: mobile devices, networking, hardware, virtualization and cloud computing, network and hardware troubleshooting, operating systems , security, software troubleshooting and operational procedures.
Prerequisites:
This is a self-paced, online course to help students prepare with course content (Study Guide), labs, practice tests, and certification voucher.
Note: This course is for students who are preparing to take the CompTIA A+ certification exams: Core 1 (220-1001) and Core 2 (220-1002)
Two certification exam vouchers are included and exam can be taken on-site at BC North Campus.
