Description: This program (formally known as Pursuit Lab under Pre-College) is now a 10 week ONLINE course at Edmonds Community College in Continuing Education.
This 10 week Pursuit Lab is designed to help prepare you for the workplace through interviews/resume building and a strength focus approach to career exploration while giving you access to a Virtual Job Shadow platform that houses thousands of videos on different jobs from the comfort of your own home. This Winter class will begin on Jan 11th and end on March 18th running for 10 weeks, 4 days a week from 2:30-3:30pm. The time would be spent on zoom to practice interviewing, self advocacy and job shadowing right from your home. If you’re looking for a group of people to get to be in community with while you pursue jobs, college or interests, this is the place for you.
This class is recommended for repeating students and for students who can keep with a faster pace and work independently
online.
Pre- Registration Deadline is December 20th, 2020. CLICK HERE to fill out a form to see if you qualify. The sooner you apply the sooner you will know if you qualify and have a reserved spot in the Pursuit Lab. The final registration date is January 1st.
