NORDIC HERITAGE MUSEUM NEW!

Come with us as we travel back to the nineteenth-century Scandinavian countryside to begin a journey to America. This docent-led tour begins with the “Dream of America” exhibit telling the story in life-like dioramas: a move to the city, voyage across the Atlantic, landing at Ellis Island, and moving west across the U.S. to the Pacific Northwest and ending in Ballard. We will also self-explore two galleries that focus on the Northwest logging and fishing industries, which employed many immigrants who brought skills learned in the old country. This will be an adventure worth seeing! Meet GRCC bus at Auburn Center gravel parking lot, 2nd St. S.W., Auburn.
